Very dense base for finishing the leather edges, colorless, is used for edges that will be edge coated after. It is also available in transparent version. It finishes even the edges formed from several layers of leather and other materials.
How to get beautiful and rounded edges for your leather project:
- Finish the edge as well as possible, if it consists of several layers glue them well and make sure that they have all the same length and form one single body;
- Round and sand the edges
- Apply the base coat for finishing edges and leave to dry completely, at least 25-30 minutes. If necessary, grind or hot finish at up to 240°C.
- Apply the thick paint and let it dry completely. If necessary, sand again or finish hot at a maximum of 240°C. You can apply several layers if necessary, until the edges are finished to the desired look.
Useful information:
- The edge finishing base can be diluted with demineralized water if it is too thick. Pour a very small amount of demineralized water, then stir. Repeat if necessary until you reach the desired consistency.
- Before use stir the product very well, do not shake to avoid the formation of air bubbles.
- Store the product at temperatures between 5 and 40°C in dry spaces
- Clean the excess product with a damp cloth, when the base is still wet. Dry base can no longer be cleaned.
